Deerfield is home to the headquarters of the following corporations: Walgreens, Cosi, Baxter Healthcare, APAC Customer Services, and was at one time the headquarters of Sara Lee Corp.

Deerfield High School is one of the top public schools in the state of Illinois.

A house on Castlewood Lane was in the intro of the old show Married with Children.

The Deerfield Public Library sits on the crash site of a U.S. Navy airplane that crashed here in 1944.

"Italian Kitchen," located on Deerfield Rd, was in the movie Amityville Horror.

In the film Risky Business, the Deerfield train station is shown.

The film Stolen Summer was filmed in Deerfield.

The Berto Center, practice facility of the Chicago Bulls, is located in Deerfield.

The old ABC drama Once and Again was set in Deerfield.
