Aliza Goldberg, 13, and Jessica Lane, 22 have vowed to each other to follow their mother’s footsteps, Barb Goldberg of Deerfield, and continue her passion to help others.
Recently, their mother lost her life to breast cancer at age 51. Even during her six-year battle, she still managed to continue helping others. Quite the remarkable woman.
Barb Goldberg is definitely someone worth remembering. She formed an after-school enrichment program called But Enough About Me, a.k.a. B.E.A.M. The girls behind the sale have worked hard and long to make this happen, and have carefully planned out everything needed to make this successful.
